⚠️ SERIES S MEMORY ERROR

Since 1.10 update Series S have been really struggling with the bigger grids again. We do what we can to prevent this, but we also want to drive big grids.

The more reports they get in, the more serious it should be taken.

If you can not enter the server, sign off before quali or post a picture or video of the Memory Issue in the discord ⁠dc-proof channel to avoid a loss in ratings.

🚫 DC/DNF

Then we have a new rule. Because of the memory error and other multiple reported DC's we will be a little bit more lenient when it comes to handing out a reduced penalty.

If your video does not meet up to the requirements we still have the option to give the benefit of the doubt marked with a 🟨 . This will result in a DNF instead of DC, offcourse this is still a penalty but it is better than losing 125 ratings.

To get the 🟨 we need you:

• To post a video of the disconnect in ⁠dc-proof

• Be in a top 50% position (we will look at pitstops)

• Be driving (so not standing next to track or in pitlane)

• Be free of major damage

🟪 XCL RATING SYSTEM

DNS has always been an issue for the rating system. These drivers sign up and forget they did or don't bother to sign off when they can't attend.

Still all RSVPs are taken into the rating system and this was beneficial for the other drivers as they hold up the bottom positions and there take away the biggest loss positions.

We have now made a small adjustment to the system which let it skip the people that didn't race. They will still be visible and they will still be penalised with the DNS penalty (-50 per 30min) but they won't be taken into account for the Strength of Field (SoF)

This will therefor make lower finishing positions worse for your ratings, to tackle this we have made the calculator a little bit more forgiving and made the factors lean more towards positive ratings.

We might be slightly tweaking this new system as we go. Offcourse we still expect you to finish in the top 60/70% if you want to gain. The rating system will be more forgiving if you are lower rated but this is not childrens play where everybody wins. In a game there is winners and losers and this system is developed to be a representation of your skill compared to the guys you are racing with.

⚠️ EXAMPLE:

We have a nice example for you guys where everybody is in order of their expected position and the DNS guys are not taken into the equation.
